Please Join Us!!
The Anti-Trafficking Ministry “Slaves No More”, of First Baptist Church of Umatilla, is pleased to sponsor The inaugural” Daughter’s of the King Tea”. The tea is a fundraiser to assist with providing safe housing to survivors in the Central Florida area.  We are excited to partner with Biker’s Against Trafficking in working to build a safe house for survivors of human trafficking. Healing Place is the name of a housing project that will provide six homes that will allow a survivor to “live” in the safety of a home like atmosphere. A place that survivors can receive trauma counseling and job training to assist the survivor with integrating back into the community.
The Daughter’s of the King Tea is honored to have Barbara Beck, Inspirational Speaker and Host of Welcome Home on The Good Life TV 45, as our keynote speaker.  Barbara is also Director of Content & Relationship Development at the station. She is passionate about forming partnerships with pastors, churches, ministries and individuals to share how God is working in their lives. Commitment to God, serving him, and living a faithful life has given Barbara a heart for women, and she considers it a great joy and honor to minister throughout Central Florida, particularly through the Good Life 45.
Diena Cannavino, Vice President of Biker’s Against Trafficking, a passionate advocate for survivors will also share the current building progress of Healing Place.  Diena is a Certified Addictions Counselor, and the Business Manager at Sojourner’s Recovery and Wellness in Lake Mary, Florida. Diena will be available to answer any questions regarding the survivor home and will have site plans on hand for viewing.
We would be honored for you to join us for a relaxing afternoon of delicious tea, yummy scones and sweet treats. We will enjoy the inspirational words of living your best life in the Christian faith with Barbara Beck.  As an attendee of the tea you will have the opportunity to change the life of a person recovering from trauma, by participate in our silent auction, which is our primary fundraiser for the event. We will have beautiful jewelry, handmade crafts, and gift certificates to local Lake County Businesses. All monies raised for the Healing Place homes go directly to the project.
