What is MOPS?
MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers…We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood while being encouraged to be woman who love and serve Christ. We are rallying women to be more honest and to feel more equipped.
We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world. This is a time to be encouraged and rejuvenated without your children.
The children get fed God’s word through AWANA and nursery while we meet.
Who is MOPS for?
Here at FBCUmatilla we have a combined group of both MOPS moms and MOMS Next MOMS. MOPS stands for mothers of preschoolers. MOMS Next is for moms of school aged children.
Our group is open to expectant moms through moms with elementary age children.
When do we meet?
We meet every Wednesday night from 6:30-8 September threw May.
How can you get involved?
If you are in the midst of motherhood from pregnancy-school aged children we would love for you to join our group.
You can just show up at the Sycamore Tree on Wednesday night at 6:30.
